Here is our shop's Quilt:
Kits are available at the shop!
(I would like to say I waited hours for the light to be just right-
so the sunbeam would hit the word "Texas"
but, truthfully I just got lucky!)

Hexie Crazy

At free sew on Friday night we had quite a showing of hexie fanatics!
First Tina had these fussy cut 3/4" hexies which were adorable!
Then:
Debbie had these 1/2" hexies made into stars- she was actually almost done with the project!
But then Tina, refusing to be outdone....
Tina pulled out this little piece done with 1/4" hexies many of which were fussy cut as well!
Can we say crazy ladies?????
This piece which was all of 7" at the WIDEST point
has 170 hexagons in it!
All beautiful ladies! Quite an inspiration to me but I think I will stick with the 2" hexies for now! I hope some of these little beauties are going to be entered in the quilt show this spring!

Desert Sky paper piecing

Carolyn's Desert Sky paper piecing class is always a hit! Yesterday these ladies worked all day with beautiful results and a great start on their quilts!
Kathy was there helping out too! I was pretty pleased to snap this shot as they both claim to not be photogenic!
