Tri-County Quilt Guild Show!

We are excited to be a part of Tri-County Quilt Guild's show this Friday and Saturday (March 2 and 3rd).
It is being held at the Berry Center  on Barker Cypress Road between Highway 290 and I-10.
Tickets are $7 kids under 12 are free. 
Friday from 9-5 and Saturday from 9-4.

We will be open regular shop hours here in Tomball ( including Friday Free Sewing!) but we will also be vendors at the show so stop by and see us and be sure to see our ad in the show program!

Just for Fun --- Facts About Us

Free Folgers Coffee1. Not one of us is a "Morning Person".

2. We all have at least a dozen UFO's.

3.We all drink coffee but one of us will ONLY drink Folgers coffee.

4. None of us are native Texans but we all got here as fast as we could!

5. There is a always stash of Chik-Fil-A sauce in the fridge at the shop.

7. We all love to play Scrabble/Words with Friends.

8. One of us likes to get the mail from the mailbox AS SOON as it is delivered.

9. Two of us wear our natural hair color. One of us has hair that is "enhanced".

10. We sometimes flip the OPEN sign to CLOSED when we see the UPS man coming.


11. We each have two children a boy and a girl and the girl is older for all three of us!

Bonus: We have the Soup of the Day schedule for the Whistle Stop Tea Room memorized.

Can I borrow a grandchild?

These fabrics came in this week and I am just itching to make something with them but my nearly 12 and 15 year old children are probably not going appreciate it if I make something for them out of these.
 Stripes and plaids *love* the fabric on the above right that looks like polka dots is really buttons!
 The cars and trucks have buttons and zippers on them super cute!

 Simple and cute pattern:
 Look at the cute panel, they use it in the pattern to put a child's name on the quilt.

And today we got some special treats from Teresa in the form of coffee and Italian Cream cake balls from Rao's (**my favorite bakery!**). Thank you Teresa!!! You are so sweet.
