Scrappy Happy Baby and more!

Deb and I have been looking forward to this fabric line since we ordered it a few months ago. So cute and the 30's reproduction feel is so fun. It has these two huge panels one in pink:
Sorry I couldn't fit it all in the picture with out losing the details in the prints.  The faux rick rack is really cute on there.  It came with coordinates in girlie colors:
and one panel in blue:
With coordinates in boy colors:
There are also these coordinates:

We ordered two clever patterns to go with the coordinates which I really like but, I think the panels with a cute border would be adorable too! All are now available at the shop.
We also got these this week:

Carnival in black, white, red and gray to add to our black and white and red case.  We are becoming pretty well known for having a good selection of black and whites which was one of our goals as a shop.  Thanks for spreading the word!
We had a great week of classes at the shop and are looking forward to that continuing. Check the shop calendar on the website and sign up soon. I will post some of the class samples on here soon to tempt!

Current Events at QXing

We were pleased to welcome Dalen and Mitzi Keys of Pennsylvannia to the shop on Wednesday. Dalen is the author of Just a Quilt?
He signed some books for us and we have a few of them available in the shop (while supplies last).  His wife Mitzi (a quilter), was there to teach her pattern which was featured in the book.  Many of the ladies in the class planned to make the quilt from the book and give it to a special child or grandchild along with a copy of the book. What a terrific gift! I can't wait to see them completed.
For more information about Dalen you can find him here at his website, he was a great and inspiring speaker and is willing to travel!  He spoke at Tri-County Quilt Guild on Tuesday night and we had a really wonderful time getting to know Dalen and Mitzi and hope to see them again when his next book comes out!
Coming up....
On Saturday we are having a 20% off storewide sale and an open house. Our talented teachers will be in the classroom with class samples to entice you with.  A few refreshments will be served. Come in and sign up for a class!
