Saturday Afternoon on a Friday

We received a new line from Northcott fabrics called
"Saturday Afternoon".
The line was designed by Jane Spolar who had a previous line called Bliss which we loved last year.
Saturday Afternoon continues Jane Spolar's tradition of rich, saturated colors and whimsical shapes.

Meadow Friends

This  new line from Moda designed by Deb Strain is really cute!
 Frogs and lizards

 Camo and dots

The charm packs have swatches of the whole line- we focussed on the boys fabrics when we ordered yardage.
And my absolute favorite part of the line is the selvage edge!!
Is that cute or what????? Look at the little ladybugs!

Cleanin' House

We have a bunch of bolts on clearance right now 30% off. We have hit our one year anniversary so it seemed timely to do a little store cleaning (well, that and the 5 boxes of new fabric we recently received that need some shelf space!).
Here are some pics of the 30% off bolts:

Alexander Henry fabrics!!

We have wanted to carry Alexander Henry fabrics since we opened but just hadn't made it happen until now.
We got these in today and they are so fun and quintessentially Alexander Henry. I don't know what to play with first!
Animals
These next two are called Jardin de los Muertos:

These two dotty pieces are the coordinates for the sewing themed fabric below this one
It is a fun retro sewing fabric with sewing notions, pattern pieces and a mod looking sewing machine. This might end up on my new sewing machine cover.....it is really neat.
Eclectic red birds with different textures and outfits.
Could be a fun Christmas fabric but doesn't have to be.

Christmas in July

We have been giving you peeks of all the pretty Christmas lines we have been getting in the store. This week we got more!

We got this cute panel of stockings.  The stocking panel has all 4 stockings and four birdie ornaments. Plus each panel has directions on how to put them together-
which I followed. (Can you believe it? When you work at a quilt store your homework is sewing! Oh NO!)
Here are all the stockings, linings and hanging tabs ready to be sewn.
Wah-Lah! Four adorable stockings
The mouse one is my favorite!
Fully Lined and finished- no raw edges.
Here are the cute little ornaments too.
See how cute they come out?

Deb is working on this advent calendar panel:
It comes with directions finish the calendar and directions to make the little bag to hold the "days" as they are taken off the calendar!
