New Fabrics

 Here are some fresh colors and prints: Lot of people looking to do a little table makeover with new runners and placemats being popular to make, this fabric line was one we thought was pretty for those patterns:

Recent classes!

These ladies recently became quilters in the beginner 9 Patch class taught by Patsy Mosby! Congratulations ladies!

 I love seeing how the same pattern can look so different depending on which fabric is used!

Aged Muslins

Since we opened we have carried Aged Muslins but with limited color options: BROWN.

I made this out of the brown aged muslins 

in the first year we opened: 

 It was sort of an experiment in quilting patterns.

Now Marcus fabrics have come out with a complete color line in aged muslins:

 Check out the beautiful texture the aging process creates:

They start out a little stiff in the hand coming off the bolt but after washing feel really great. Come by and check them out- they are affordably priced at $6.99 per yard.

Shop Hop!

As I said in an earlier post, we are participating in the Greater Houston Area Shop Hop later this month (March 26-29). 

There is a quilt at the center of this hop seen below:

Each participating shop will sell a part of the quilt kit. You will need to travel to all the shops to buy all the parts for the quilt- doing so however puts you in the running for some big prizes!

Simple to traditionally piece! 

 We hope it is a big hit on the hop!

You can also purchase finishing kits which add borders to this beauty or you can quilt it and bind it as we have.

Asian Infusion

We have had a few requests for Asian fabrics. 

Specifically one of our customers, a male quilter incidentally, has told us he loves our shop but is going to open up a Quilters Crossing Annex across the street and only sell Asian fabrics! Before he gets too deep in his plans for this, we thought we'd just order some Asian fabrics for him. Without further ado:
