Open House this Saturday!

Wake up folks! This Saturday is our summer open house day! 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Rain or shine our teachers will fill the classroom with their samples and take sign ups for upcoming classes!

What should I bring, you ask?

-A checkbook to pay teachers for your classes, a calendar to write down your classes and a shopping list to take advantage of the storewide 25% off in-stock inventory sale.

This includes notions, fabric (1/2 yd. cuts or more), thread, patterns, books etc...

Is it crowded on sale day?

Yes it is - the afternoon is a little less crowded though and we will still have plenty of fabric left to choose from!

Do you serve food? 

Yes we have some nibbles and beverages to refresh with!

 So sleep in and then come in and hang out at Quilters Crossing!

New Pre-cuts!

For the first time we found some 30's and 40's reproduction fabrics in PRE-CUTS! 

 We ordered mini charms, charms, Jellyrolls and Fat Quarter bundles! 

Available while supplies last!

 We also received some new Patchabilities patterns with a Christmas theme!

Please remember we are going to be close on the 4th of July! 

But we will re-open on Friday morning- the 5th!

Christmas in JUNE!

Since we opened the shop nearly three years ago (Yay!).... we have been consistently amazed at how EARLY Christmas fabrics are put out by fabric companies. This year we started receiving it in MAY! Can you believe that? So here are a few more that we received this week! 'Cuz who doesn't want to start their Christmas projects when it is 90 degrees outside!

These are new fabrics from Ellen Medlock. They are somewhat hard to find so we got a few. She designs some very popular patterns as well.

 Here is a SIMPLE simple simple advent calendar. It is a panel and you create the pockets by tucking the panel up "on the dotted lines" and then sewing the tucks in place! So easy-- definitely a why didn't I think of that idea! 

 And here is the first new gift idea we have found to bring our customers, The Quilters Emergency Kit.

New Patterns from BJ designs

Any of these BJ Designs patterns can be selected for our very popular Machine Applique class taught by Dolores Wood. The designer just came out with these new patterns and I can't wait to do a couple of them!

 Still have my weakness for owls so this one is a given!

 Izzie the Kitty would be cute to have up for Halloween! It's no secret we love kitties at the shop. This pattern makes a lot of fun use of black and white prints- plus we have already received some Halloween prints so those could be sprinkled in too!

 We have all been surprised by the popularity of Yolanda Llama. I didn't realize how many of our customers were fond of llamas or knew someone who was!

 And Roosters are very popular especially in kitchen decor so Reggie here has been getting some attention.

They are all very fun patterns- its like coloring in a coloring book but with fabric instead of crayons!

New Classes and Flannel on special

Here are some of the gorgeous samples our teachers have been turning in for new classes!

The shop has all the patterns and supplies you need for all of these beautiful projects. Summer is on the way and its a great time to start thinking about new projects and for those of us who are really prepared....Christmas presents!
